Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Stayplain Studio's website and services. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or engaging Stayplain Studio for any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Services Provided

Stayplain Studio provides website design, ecommerce development, SEO, local SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, website maintenance, branding, digital marketing, and AI search optimization services. The specific scope of services for each project is defined in a separate project proposal or agreement provided to the client.

3. Payment Terms

Payment terms vary by service type. Website design and ecommerce projects require a 50% deposit before work begins, with the remaining 50% due upon project completion and launch. Monthly retainer services (SEO, digital marketing, maintenance) are invoiced in advance each month. Full payment terms are detailed on our Pricing page and in individual project agreements.

Late payments may result in suspension of services until accounts are brought current.

4. Project Timelines

Estimated project timelines are provided in good faith based on typical project scope. Timelines may be affected by factors including client responsiveness, content delivery delays, and scope changes. We will communicate any timeline changes promptly.

5. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, clients receive ownership of the final deliverables created specifically for their project (website, branding assets, content). Stayplain Studio retains the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Any third-party assets (stock photography, licensed fonts, plugins) remain subject to their respective licensing terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

Stayplain Studio strives to deliver high-quality services but cannot guarantee specific business outcomes such as exact search engine rankings, traffic volumes, or revenue figures, as these depend on factors outside our direct control, including market conditions and search engine algorithm changes.

Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate an ongoing service agreement with written notice as specified in the individual service agreement. Deposits for completed work are non-refundable. Monthly retainer services may be cancelled with 30 days' written notice.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
